This Site Was Created by Deep Focus Marketing Copyright 2011 - http://www.deepfocusmedia.com EVENTS Events produced, coordinated and/or managed by Kim McNair: Fashion Illusion Designer Fashion Show this is one of McNair Productions signature events having over 19 yrs of fashion show production this is still the #1 show in Orlando, Florida.  This fashion show has had a host of celebrity guests and designers, not to mention TOP runway models from the NYC/NJ, ATL and LA.  Stay tuned as we present our 20 Year Anniversary Fashion Show.  Annually since 1991 My Sister ~ My Friend, Inc Women of Excellence Awards Luncheon & Fashion Show, honoring outstanding women in the community.  Featuring a runway fashion show with the McNair Models recognizing over (11) eleven women who service the community on a daily bases.  The charter of these women speaks volume for who they are and they stand as examples of courageous women who remain determined strong and honorable in many ways.  Women of Excellence.  Attendance has been 500+ Sponsored by SAKS Fifth Ave-Florida Mall Annual Sister to Sister Conference developing our young DIVAS for tomorrow: Designed for teenage girls’ ages 12-17 years old.  The mission for this event is to significantly impact the development and creation of positive self images in our teenage girls with training, mentoring, and activities that build confidence and self-esteem.  Celebrity guest panels included: Cee Cee Michaela-Singer Author Actress best known for UPN sitcom comedy Girlfriends; NFL Player Chuck Wiley; Vonnie B-Stir It UP TV show in Atlanta; Edward Long Jr.-New Birth Missionary Baptist Church Lithonia, GA; Judge Geronda Carter-Clayton County Superior Court.  Just to name a few…… Pink on the Green Charity Golf Tournament was held @ Fayetteville Golf Club October 2007 presented by Dr. Freda McCarter of Precision Surgical Associates of Atlanta.  This tournament benefited the Georgia Cancer Foundation and honored two women in our community who are breast cancer survivors, these women help to spread the word on the importance of early detection. Recipients were: First Lady Glenda J Black, Sisters of Faith Ministries and News-Anchor, JaQuitta Williams of WSB TV. Event raised $20,000 to fund low-cost mammograms for women in the under served communities. Odessa Chambliss Quality of Life Fund, Inc. “SHAQS Mama Said Knock You Out” celebrity golf tournament and Midday Soiree/Gala. This is an annual event that raised money for nursing scholarships.  Mother Odessa Chambliss who was a nurse by profession at the time of her death the O’Neal family learned it is not the quantity of life but the quality of life that is important.  With this event each year another dream comes true for some deserving students and individuals in the community. Kim McNair Productions has been on this event committee and has been the volunteer manager of this event for over 6yrs. HEALing Our Communities Conference July 2008 “What You Can Do Cancer Summit/Health & Wellness Exp”  participating organizations joined together to help the community “Take Charge of Their Health” this one day event was open to the public offering  on-site screenings,  breakout sessions, and Q &A.  Kim McNair handled the event logistics and coordination under the direction of Dr. Charles E. Moore of Emory University. Annual Pink Ribbon Breakfast this event is a Celebration of Life!  Survivors are invited to - “Share the Journey”, presented by McNair Productions with the support of the City of Lovejoy/ we honored survivors and supporters with the PINK Ribbon Spirit Award. Each year we continue to help raise awareness in early detection, education and encourage women to get annual breast exam.  We celebrate men and women who are survivors and those who have lost the battle to breast cancer.  Last year recipients: Janet Beebe-27 yr Breast Cancer Survivor and Dr Freda McCarter- Breast Surgeon.  This year Celebrity Guest Genesis Moore Finalist from 2009 American Idol performed a special tribute to the survivors and supporters. Dr. Davis Scott Timbert and Young Breast Cancer Survivor Lesley Hudson were our 2010 PINK Spirit Award honorees.  This event raised money for the Breast Cancer Survivors Network, Inc. City of Lovejoy National Cancer Survivors Day 2010 5K Walk/ Run to benefit Hope Closets.  On Saturday June 19th the community joined together to WALK, RUN, LIVE, GIVE  this fundraiser event helped to raise money and awareness in early detection and research for all types of cancer.  During this event, we celebrated men, women and children who are survivors and those we have lost in the fight against cancer. We awarded Male/Female walker and Male/Female runner with trophies and all participants received bronze medals. Sponsors included: Starbucks, Target, LA Fitness, Chick-fil-A, Home Depot, State Farm, and Arch Dental just to name a few… Mothers of Professional Basketball Players Conference 2010 held in Orlando, Florida at the Disney Yacht Beach Club Resort.  This conference was unique as the mothers hosted a weekend of fun and excitement they also had special invited guests:  Mothers of Professional Football Players Association.  During the weekend there were two signature events Charity Basketball Game and a Crown Affair Brunch and Fashion Show.  Each event raised money for different local charities the game benefited UNCF and the brunch benefited Florida Hospital for Juvenile Diabetes.   Ms Kim McNair First Lady of Special Events
